Welcome to WASHARES
WASHARES is the Washington County, Wisconsin, ARES/RACES organization. Our membership trains to respond to disasters of all types when activated by the Washington County Emergency Coordinator (EC). Our members are located in all areas of Washington County Wisconsin. We have members in West Bend, Germantown, Menomonee Falls, Jackson and Kewaskum.
WASHARES is a member of the Wisconsin ARES/RACES organization.
Our Meetings .........
WASHARES meets every third Wednesday of every month and the meetings are being held at the Town of Polk offices. This is located on Hwy 60 between Hwy 45 and Hwy 41, just West of the Washington County Humane Society facility at 7:00 pm.
We have an on the air drill and check-in every Thursday night at 8:15 pm. We hold these check-ins on the 147.21 +600 (127.3 PL) Washington County Repeater. This is an open checkin and all licensed Amateur Radio operators are welcome. This is also the Washington County Weather net repeater so those of you wishing to participate please join us on the drill at 8:15 on Thursdays.

Our meeting now will precede the Washington County Amateur Radio Club (WCARC) meetings which have moved to Thursday nights immediately following the WASHARES meeting. (Approximately 7:30.)

The 147.210 Antenna is up!
The new antenna is in the air and WASHARES has a MUCH stonger voice in SE Wisconsin.
